Lev Sheba

Privacy policy

Version 1 · 14 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data levsheba.com processes, what for, and for how long. It describes only what the site does today.

Data controller: Sheba LATAM Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales, registration number 13638199, at Derech Sheba 2, Ramat Gan, Israel. For anything concerning your data: yossefbm@shebalatam.org. No data protection officer has been appointed.

If you donate, we process your name, email, amount, currency and country. Your card details never pass through our systems: the payment provider handles them directly.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email and, if you give it, your name, to send you the updates you agreed to receive. Every message carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.

If you create an account, we process your email and profile details. If you turn on notifications, we store the identifier your device generates to receive them; it is deleted when you turn them off.

We count visits with our own system, which stores no IP address, no identifier, no browser and no session. Only how many times each page was seen, on what day, in which language and which site it was reached from. That count cannot tell us who you are.

We process donations to perform the commitment you make and the accounting obligations that follow. The newsletter and notifications rest on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. The account, to provide the service you asked for. The visit count, on our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works.

To operate we rely on a payment provider, an email delivery provider, a cloud infrastructure provider and a technical provider established in Spain that runs the site on our behalf. All of them process data on our instructions and not for their own purposes. We do not sell or share data with third parties.

Some of those providers are in the United States; those transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or on the adequacy framework in force. Data may also be processed in Israel, a country recognised as adequate by both the European Union and the United Kingdom.

Donation records are kept for six years, as accounting and tax rules require. Newsletter data, until you unsubscribe. Account data, for as long as you keep it open. The visit count holds no personal data and does not expire.

You may ask us to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to yossefbm@shebalatam.org. We may ask you to prove your identity before we answer.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) and, if you live in Spain, to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

This site is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this page, with its date. Changes do not apply retroactively.
